Rope off an area of your home!
Not because a crime has occurred but because this is the only way to sanity.... Those toys can work their way into every nook and cranny of your home unless you set boundaries. A great idea (if you have the space) is to set aside a whole room as a play room, however this is not always practical. So, designating a spot within your living area is a good compromise. Set up boundaries to this area by positioning small bookshelves or a play table to create a border. Make sure to let your kids know that this is their special area to play - you could even set up a bright play mat and some cool floor pillows to make it more special!
