* How often you shop - weekly, fortnightly, daily or monthly?
* Do you carry a big stock of food or is your pantry running on dry 90% of the time?
* Do you have young kids/older kids or are there just adults in your home?
Thinking about these questions is a good starting point when formulating your Pantry Zones. For example, if you shop monthly, you'll need a surplus zone. This could be a lower shelf which will serve as your restocker for the other shelves.
Some examples of Pantry Zones:
* Snack

* Canned Goods
* Baking
* Produce - Potatoes/Onions
* Entertaining - includes items such as crackers; antipasto jars, etc
* Pet Food
Using zones in your pantry makes it easier to shop & easier to cook. It also ensures your kids aren't pulling apart half the pantry to find their after sc
