All around the world, people are rushing around to attend end of year celebrations, festive get-togethers for work, school presentations and also trying to get the Christmas shopping done as well as catching up with friends & family. It's all too much, isn't it?
A little organisation goes a long way
The organised person will have all of the above done by Dec 15.
The disorganised person will be purchasing gifts at the 7Eleven on the way to Grandma's house!
Which one are you?
Personally, I probably fit into the second category. Our November is choc full of birthdays, so I don't tend to go crazy about Christmas until the birthdays are done. But.....I do prepare some things. I prepare by getting a good portion of my shopping done (usually via online means) so I am not battling the shops.
We also start systematically cleaning/clearing out parts of the house - sorting the kids clothes; donating toys; decluttering, etc. I also start purchasing some of the Christmas food and put it away for the day - that way it isn't such a sting in your hip pocket!
Keep calm & .......
Maintaining the calm will make the season more enjoyable for you and those around you. It will also ensure your safety and the safety of others.
And if you find that it is still all too much for you - take a look at our Christmas Organising Printables. They may just be your answer to calm.
Here's to an Organised Christmas!
